Solution Expert, Laboratory System

FinOrion Pharma India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Solution Expert, Laboratory System in Information Management - India department.  In this position you will be based in Mumbai.

 

Description of position 

Role: Solution Expert, Laboratory System 

Responsibilities:

• Managing system configuration, enhancement and life cycle
• Providing 2nd level application support and utilizing 3rd level support
• Problem solving of various technical issues related to different phases of systems life cycle
• Appropriate technical and user testing and documentation to comply with the industry regulations
• Acting as a subject matter expert in concepting, implementation and upgrade projects
• Understanding Laboratory systems and processes to match the demand with an optimal solution and/or configuration
• Responsible for LIMS - SAP integrations

FinOrion Pharma India Pvt. Ltd. (http://www.orionpharma.in) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Orion Group.  A presence in India provides an opportunity for Orion Group to strengthen the business relationship with the current partners and support the head quarter in various office activities. The India office focuses mainly on Global Operations and R&D activities.

Global operations (formerly known as supply chain) is one of the core area of operations in Orion's India office. This office is involved in procurement of in-licensed formulated products and pharmaceutical ingredients for in-house manufacturing in Finland. The Packaging Technology team is involved in creating and managing artworks for both in-licensed and in-house manufactured products. The Quality Assurance team is involved in auditing our partners globally to ensure cGMP compliance.  

CPD & LCM India (Pharmaceuticals and Regulatory Affairs teams) supports the product life cycle management, maintenance of marketing authorizations, various other documentation requirements and supports activities such as biostatistics, programming and medical writing tasks for regulated markets. The Creative Design team in India supports digital / graphic designing activities.

Requirements

Education and/or experience:

• Bachelor's / master's degree, in the area of IT from a reputed College / University
• Experience on application support and lifecycle management in a corporate organization
• IT technical knowledge on e.g. database, servers, network, AD, SSO, DNS,  firewalls, API keys
• Experience in Empower  CDS and any LIMS system and  additionally LIMS-SAP integration
• Ability to understand business needs and translate those into small enhancements or solutions
• Capability to manage architectural concepts of own solutions
• Ownership, initiative and drive. You can take accountability of the issues that occur and are motivated by solving problems and seeing the results of your work in effective use
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, positive “can do” attitude as well as taking responsibility
• Team and business first mindset, ability to work, collaborate and communicate effectively with various cross-functional stakeholders
• Task oriented with learning attitude and Team work skills
• Good English communication skills (both verbal & written)

Good to have:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in Laboratory systems, like e.g. LIMS, CDS, ELN, LES
• Experience of managing applications in regulated life sciences / pharmaceutical industry
• Service Management Framework knowledge
• Experience in multi vendor environment
